How is the Southern Switcher!

It is the best well constructed heaviest switcher I ever had. I had postwar Lionel #634 back in 1965 (that one was total piece of junk but was my first one when I was 6), few MPC era ones (little bit better made) and first Railking U.P. switcher, I think this one came with the stamped sheet metal frame and 2 Williams NW-2's but they were really sloppy assembled but ran okay for what it is. Until now this Southern Railking NW-2 is the BEST one of all, LOVED that green and white color with gold pin stripes (it was that green and gold pin stripes that touched my emotions when I had in my hand and the sun shine that shined upon it from the pouch window while I was sitting in my sofa by it showing the deep green tone and bright gold pin stripes ! The thick die-cast frame makes it better "THANK YOU Pat". I am still waiting for J&W BCR-1 replacement. This was my first BCR I ever bought and was defective (won't hold charge after 1 minute at 10 volts) drains down quickly after few days so I put the black BCR that you made back in the engine and runs well. I still wanted to put in the J&W BCR-1 in it because I hear nothing but good reviews from the fellow OGR members but ended up getting a bad one anyway. The black BCR you put in which I don't know anything about it like how high the voltage and how long to charge it before running so I charge it at 10 volts @1 minute before running , runs well. I am glad the post was deleted (wanted it to be). Pat I am SORRY for everything that happen in this forum. Would you happen to have a Railking "Southern" bay window caboose to go with the switcher. We are out of train funds now. THANK YOU Pat for this BEAUTIFUL Southern switcher !! There is NO bad mouthing this time but PEACE !! SMILE.
