I have a large spool of 14 gauge black wire I will use to connect my Z4000 to TIU and then to the track. I also have some 16 gauge red  wire for same purpose. One for center rail and the other for outside rail of Atlas0 track. Can I use two different gauges or should I natch them up?

Thanks!

This is good advice.  Personally, I wouldn't use 2 gauges of wire as described, but I'm probably OCD.  I also write down my wiring standards.
