I rocomend DISH network.  I had Direct TV and over a period of 2 years they jacked up my billing from $64 a month to over $100 for the same package.  With DISH I pay $66 per month and get RFD, all the sports channels, all the Hallmark and family channels and more.  When I call DISH customer service I always get assistance quickly and they give me free bonus features each year.  DISH also carries my PAC 12 sports network which Direct TV doesn't.

I be sure to watch the military train program tonight.  Thanks for posting.

Great series of films.  Good footage of WW2 military trains as well as hospital trains.  The newer military trains were impressive, especially the tank train but the old films were more interesting to me.  Thank you for posting the heads up.

I wish Lionel and other O gauge manufactures would produce more military locomotives and cars in both scale and traditional sizes.  From what I read and observe on the forum there is a desire to have military trains on their layouts.......like myself.

Enjoyable films except for the short excerpts of the trains being bombed. I felt the pain of the lats train with the tanks as it wound its way through southern California.

EVERY MONDAY at 6 PM Trains and Locomotives comes on RFD TV. EVERY THURSDAY at 4 PM RFD shows I Love Toy Trains. They are both regulars for me. (MUCH better than the news)

In published rankings of customer service by companies, Comcast may (will?;-) drive you back!

The short movie (dated 1946) about the hospital ship and the process of bringing home veterans via trains that were wounded was very interesting and impressive.

I think it may have had a wee bit of Hollywood fluff in it, but I'm sure it must have made family and love ones of injured vets feel relieved that the medical treatment was very good.

Michael I'm going to make a effort to watch that program more often. Glad you gave us a heads up on it.

I  liked DTV when we had them, but I had to quit them and they burned all their bridges during the process.  I have not had any of the bad experiences with Comcast, but would like to get this channel again.
