As promised below are the options that were presented in a previous topic.  Please vote as to which one car you would be most likely to buy if they were made for S gauge.  I will first post to this forum but will ask others who belong to S clubs to share their findings.  I feel if we don't tell Manufactures what we want we can't blame them, (Lionel, MTH or American Models) for not making it.

1) Modern Tank Car (Should have no issues with R20 Curves)

2) Centerbeam 73' Car/ 63' Car (73' may have issues/63' will have no issues with R20 Curves)

3) Auto Racks (May have issues with R20 curves but should be OK with R27)

4) 60' Boxcar (Should have no issues with R20 Curves)

5) TTX Flat Cars (May have issues with R20 curves but should be OK with R27)

6) Pullman Standard 4750 CUFT PS-CD2 covered hopper (Should have no issues with R20 Curves)

please pick only one from the above.

Thanks

Boy, I would like several behind my SD70ace & ES44's (just bought 2 ES44's KCS in Jan.)  Thanks a bunch Lionel for making such nice locos!! (I support you Lionel (AM & MTH ) bring back the 57' reefers, maybe Trump can do something about this after he takes care of the border. Yeah, I know - no politics).

My vote...

So Rocco, how many individuals have voted?  The percentages don't mean much without knowing how many have voted and what the total potential voting population is.

Rocco, thank you for taking on this survey. It's encouraging to see the response from forum members here and from members of the Yahoo groups. One member on the Yahoo group mentioned that American Models was discouraged about modern equipment because the 50-foot boxcars did not sell well. Although I have three of them, I avoided buying more because I have too many boxcars already, and these ones required some detailing to bring them up to the standard of the earlier American Models boxcars. Survey results so far suggest something other than boxcars, hoppers, tank cars, and gondolas might be successful. Thanks again for your efforts in seeing what S gaugers would like to see offered.

The totals as of this morning 5-18-16

1) Modern Tank Car 23.4%

2) Centerbeam 73' Car/ 63' Car 20%

3) Auto Racks 30%

4) 60' Boxcar 20%

5) TTX Flat Cars 3.3%

6) Pullman Standard 4750 CUFT PS-CD2 covered hopper 3.3%

Please vote for the one Car you would be most interested in buying.
