Made this one for Jim.

Trains, Snow and Christmas Music.  Suzukovich... You hit the trifecta!  Thanks for posting.

I figured if I stuck it in here it would be easier for you to find later.     PE is back in storage although the Winterton crews did enjoy firing her up and stretching her legs.  As they were moving her to the storage track a newly assigned BN unit arrived. Next video back to normal. If you want another one let me know. I have a herd of Zebras that need to stretch their legs.

For Monday Model Movies today I was trying two things at once: nighttime and "long trains on short layouts." For the passenger train, I had my Legacy F40 and Legacy Amtrak Dash9 in multiple unit mode, with 11 MTH Amfleet cars (RailKing) and one MTH Rail King full dome. That train wasn't too long for a 16 foot long layout.

The coal train was a bit long, 21 hopper cars, one BAR sound box car (gotta have those clanks and bangs) and three Williams Geeps, two powered.

But, anyway, here's the result.

Here are some videos of IC action on the Casey Jones HI Railers layout during the open house a couple of weekends ago at the Memphis Model Railroaders clubs facility.

The IC geeps  are Atlas models. The sound car is the Lionel CN&W PS1 box car. The two dome tank cars, IC reefer, IC  stock car, and one of the IC 40ft steel box cars are all 2 rail converts. The IC single sheathed box car and the Tennessee Central 40ft steel box car are sporting custom paint jobs and custom lettering.

I think the videos cover most of the CJHR layout.

Thanks,

Richard

Model Movie 5/29:  The milk car in slow motion. Recording with the iPhone in slo-mo gives a good view of the action. It is funny to watch the cans bounce down the steps.

The car is equipped with an ERR Milk car kit, so its position on the platform is not critical. A slight adjustment keeps the cans on the platform, but I still have difficulty getting the cans to stand up consistently. I put a refrigerator magnet under the platform, but it may need to be stronger.

Just cant get good help these days!!!!!!!

Here are two recent runs at our train club with lots of Santa Fe.

First one is Lionel Santa Fe Alco PABA with 9 MTH Stainless Steel Plated Streamlined Passenger Cars from the MTH 2016 Vol 1 catalog and Lionel Stationsounds Diner, C&O Coal Train, and Chicago Rail Link Freight. HDef 13:34 min.
Opens with a trackside view of all 3 trains, then around the layout with views from rear and mid train on the Santa Fe and some more trackside views.

Second video features the same Santa Fe passenger being pulled by two Lionel E8 A units and an Alco PB unit (Lionel did not make an E8 B unit for the set).  Also includes Illinois Central Freight and Jim's very long Santa Fe Steam Freight. Lots of smoke seen from both Santa Fe trains passing at the 1:55 mark. Includes some cab, on train, and trackside camera views.  HDef 14:36 min.
