Just wondering is anyone has figured out why the MPH jump on the DCS Remote? Today I was running a new PS3 400E for the Christmas layour. The engine slightly derailed andI was afraid to try and put the wheels bck on,so I shut down the TIU, andtook care of the engine. When I picked the remote back up, it was reading 66 MPH. YIKES!!!

So before power the TIU back up I adjusted it back down to Zero. This has happened other times with other engines, with nothing going wrong, just not as high as 66 MPH.

Anyone else experience this?\\

Just to make sure I wasn't misleading you, I tried the experiment.

Started up a PS/2 locomotive, then dropped power to the TIU, and of course the train.  Then I turned off the remote with 10 MPH on the display.  Turned the TIU and track power back on, then turned on the remote.  The 10 MPH was still in the display, and when I roll the thumbwheel, the train immediately starts moving at the "new" speed indicated, it doesn't return to zero.
