I'm sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but is there any problem lashing up an MTH diesel (this one: 20-20421-1 SD50 w/PS3) and a Lionel diesel (this one: Lionel 34792 MKT LEGACY Scale SD40-2)? I assume I would need to turn off the cruise control on both of them. And I guess I should also test the speed of each one. But, other than that, anything else I should consider? Thanks! Ethan

You can do as you like conventionally, however, you simply cannot operate a mixed lashup of DCS (PS2/PS3), and TMCC or Legacy engines, together using DCS, TMCC or Legacy controllers.
You can, however, operate a mix of PS2 and PS3 engines as a lashup under DCS, and a mix of TMCC and Legacy engines under either Legacy or DCS.
