I did some work on these beasts over the past week. I mounted up some Kadees and reworked the controls. These were originally PS1 when I got them back in 2006-7 and were soon converted to EOB with components to control the smoke units along with the lighting and coupler in the rear A unit. I changed out the EOB for ERR cruise and added sound to the rear A as part of my unboxing efforts for this layout. I swapped out the cab crew with some Scenic Express figures.

Thanks again guys. Notice how I didn't show them unhinging themselves in the curves? Even on O90 and O99 I have to avert the gaze a bit.

Sinclair, I am using Lionel C420 sounds in the front (mounted to the old style ERR RS Commander board) and Alco PA sounds in the rear. This is what I had on hand after the EOB swap-out. There was nothing really wrong with the EOB other than the motor switching noise. I will probably use it in something else. These are run as a TMCC lashup (rear A has TAS board for B units).

I am now researching how to build a proper signal bridge for the x-overs at GB tower since these engines like to give the WB ground signal a little slap as they go through. Anyone know how to place a signal bridge over a set of x-overs? I always wondered how they were set up so that an engineer doesn't foul points in the event of having to stop for a bridge signal.
