Mth dcs controlling Lionel command accessories

Hello I just bought the older Lionel operating culverts on command control 22975 and 22965. I am new to this stuff and also just purchased the mth dcs command since I have a mth loco. My question is will this remote work the culvert accessory or do I need the cab 1 remote. If so how do I set it up. I read the mth book and it doesn't say.
