Thinking about picking up a MTH GP35 Guilford Rail road name. does anyone have this engine and can post pics of it? looks great online but some close-up pics would be awesome!

Willy, wow! Awesome footage and those engines are beauties. where can one find the PanAm road name? would love to have one of those as well since they are also local to my area.

2 of my PA are MTH 2 rail and one a williams hi rail which was custom painted.I struggled to get these 3.Erics trains did a review on these.
Mike, I own both a powered and non-powered version of the MTH Premier Guilford GP35. I've posted a couple photos and a video below. IMO, the level of detail is excellent and the sounds are very good. I would definitely recommend them!
My only minor complaint is that MTH used the wrong gray color on these diesels. I live fairly close to the Guilford (now Pan Am) mainline here in MA so I see their engines all the time. The gray on the real diesels is quite a bit darker--almost charcoal-colored--than the lighter gray used by MTH.
AtlasO did a much better job matching the real Guilford gray on their ALCo Century-series diesel offerings.

Joe, what size is your layout? Min-curve? I have a 4x8 layout, with a O-36 outer loop and O-31 inner.
Here is link to a video of my layout...its a ride along. Engine is a NS SW1500 PS3. Its not the biggest layout in the world, but its enough for me and my kids to enjoy!

Believe it or not, my tiny "layout" (I use that term loosely!) is only 4' X 6'. All track is MTH RealTrax. The outside loop is O-42, while the two switches and inside "loop" are O-31.
Joe, do you know if the MTH Premier Guilford Rail GP-35s can make a full 0-31 curve? On MTH's website it states that the model needs 0-42 curves, but all the other Geeps I have seen only need 0-31.
As joeya stated Atlas had the color correct..near the end of this video is an Atlas Hi nose converted to PS3 with a remote coupler in the rear ,scale in the front.
The pan am badged engines are gp40's correct?
What about the Maine Central Guilford Rail Waffle Box Cars?
