Cool. Somehow I never heard about them or I certainly would have ordered them from Doherty's.

I imagine they are hard to find if this was some time ago. Most of the time stuff like this held on to by their owners and never reaches the secondary market.

Not true. I got mine from a friend two months ago. If there is a will there is a way.

Just because it was easy for you to find doesn't mean it will be easy for everyone. I have never even seen one much less seen one far sale. Heck I didn't even know they made it until this thread.

Never heard of M&E before this post yesterday and then on my way home a saw a M&E Switcher working at a refinery along the New Jersey Turnpike

Morristown & Erie is one of the many NJ shortlines. You must of seen the switcher working at the Bayway Refinery. Lucky you, I haven't been able to get over there and see them yet. M&E is a quality railroad who pays attention to quality customer service.

Just out of curiosity, what era do this M&E boxcars fit in? I mean, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, or newer?

They're pretty much identical to the #200 sold on Public Delivery Track.

Since I have no idea what you are referring to, I ask the question again. What prototype era are these cars from, i.e. 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, or newer?

Sorry, should've been more specific. I would say late 50's to early 60's. M&E never had any boxcars as far as I'm aware of.
