First, press the headlight button on the DCS Remote.

If that doesn't do it, do a Feature Reset of the engine as Marty states:

Menu/Advanced/Reset Engine/Feature Reset, scroll to the engine and press the thumbwheel twice.

This and a whole lot more is all in MTH’s “The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book at MTH's web store!

If feature reset doesn't work, try factory reset.  In those don't work, Not sure if this unit has the spring contacts for those lights.  If so I would squeeze shell onto frame/make sure screws holding body on are tight.  See if they come on.

If not remove shell and inspect leads from those lights to the plug and where it goes.  Could be loose plug, broken wire, or if it is spring contacts not making contact.  If springs, stretch springs.  G
