I'd like to acknowledge and commend MTH for warranty service they recently completed on my brand new NS AC4400 20-20635-1.  The engine had a bad PS 3.0 board and was missing a windshield wiper decorative piece,  While disappointed having to get service on a new engine, I also recognize that occasionally, stuff happens.  What occurs after that makes a customer's lasting impression.   MTH's Service Counter folks were polite and courteous and the service team turned the repairs around in about three weeks, from drop off at MTH to return shipped to my door.   The engine works and looks like a champ now.  Well done and thanks to all at MTH.

Best regards

Bryan

Jason Wenzel has been with MTH for about 18 years.  He was on the MTH  R&D team based out of Michigan.   I met Jason early on when we were first playing with DCS.  I was doing the testing on my layout about a year before it got released.  Jason is an extremely knowledgeable person on the electronics used in MTH trains.  He has always been the go to guy for ANY MTH issue.

Last year,  Jeff Strank left MTH trains.  Jason is now doing double duty between Michigan and Maryland.  Jason is the head of customer service and has been working hard to get the department back where it should be.  He has cleaned up the parts department and is doing a great job with the resources he has to work with.  Jason recently put on his first tech training class and with the help of Don the senior and very smart Tech, they did a bang up job.  I have been to six MTH schools over time and this was the best.

Look for great things coming from MTH with Jason as the head of Customer service.
