MTH TIU Rev L

I don't think it makes any difference whether it's tiu #1 or any other number since they don't talk to each other..   we  have a L as tiu #2 in super. I really can't see any advantage of  having it as  tiu #1.

The TIU number is completely arbitrary. It only needs to be 1-5 and unique on the layout.

Yes, just use a DCS (PS2 or PS3) engine to do a DCS signal test. It's on page 46 of The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition.

I have downloaded rev 2 of your book, would like to see the next edition as a spiral bound.

Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen. The publisher that I use, CraeteSpace, can only print the book in an 8 X 10 format.

If there's space on the margin, you can do the binding yourself.  I have the GBC machine that does plastic bindings that I use for these tasks.

   Barry has been real nice about letting us copy his original work once we purchase it.

I had my DCS O Gauge Companion copied & bound in spiral note book at KIKO's, really came out very nice.  Shortly, I am going to have another one done, mine walked off last year, with all my personal building notes and all.  My wife has a nasty habit of storing things away, she calls it clean up, once this happens, my stuff goes into the great abis and is never seen again.
