Been looking at your store and prices for the future. Sadly, my LHS will be closing early next year and the owners will begin a well deserved retirement. There are other local stores but unfortunately, there are no more local stores that can compare to them - you seem to come close in prices. Never bought from you before but I'm leery to buy online/order after getting screwed by another forum sponsor with restocking fees, returns, defective product, etc. Do you use restocking fees, hidden fees, etc? I did not see a "policies" section of your website. If there is a page, can you point me to it. Are you/your store an authorized MTH service center?

I do all of my pre-orders with him. He never disappoints and I've never had an issue. Plus, he's a great guy to talk with on the phone and his web site is easy to order from.

Pat - thanks. Appreciate the speedy response and the willingness to assist the customer. I always hoped the day to look for a "new local" store would never come but am glad to have you as an option.

I would like to thank all of you for your orders and I want you to know we will not be under-sold by any dealer. We want to be your supplier and will give you personal service every time you call. If you have not placed your orders give us a try. When you call our store you get to talk to me not a clerk who knows nothing about trains except whats the item number?

Like SJC I am in the same boat and probably its the same shop we frequent that is closing. Now price is not everything I know but I see you won't be undersold so does that mean you price match if a dealer has a lower advertised price on preorders? CT McCormicks in PA has Premier 6 car sets for 10 bucks cheaper than you but other than that your prices look almost identical and very close to the prices I also paid for pre-orders from my current dealer who is closing. Another question you answered is you require no deposits which is nice and I assume if we are out of state we pay shipping and no tax on orders is that correct? It looks like you handle Atlas, Lionel, MTH, and Weaver so anything from those companies can be ordered through you? Finding a new place to handle your orders is proving to be more stressful than I thought. Also what is the deadline for the MTH orders for this catalog? I appreciate your time.

Thanks Pat my current dealer has spoke well of you in the past so I am close to making a choice on who to give my business to and you are the leading candidate so far.
Just a note the 2015 MTH Vol.1 prices are almost complete on our site, we just have to add the Passenger cars. This will be done by Wednesday. Please feel free to call the store with your pre-orders.
