Multi level layout

It looks like the outer is a simple loop. The inner loop is a dog bone that sort of figure 8's upon itself with elevation inside the outer loop.

It looks like the inner loop is not connected with the outer loop. So, if that's correct, the outer loop stays at ground level, and the inner loop operates at all levels of the layout. If they are separate running two trains would be simple without possible incident (apart from jumping off track). 

If you wanted to connect the loops (if they're not connected), it looks like a double crossover one the left side of the pictured layout would work.

Another view:

First, you have to figure out what kind of track is being used.  It looks like S scale.

They are.  The bottom diagram(not mine, by the way - it's from an earlier OGR Forum post) has the catalog numbers(easier to see if you right-click, view image).

I'd be interested using atlas O track.  Outer track would be 054 radius. inner dog bone sizes ?.  table size approx. 5x9 or so.  Thinking this years Christmas layout. 

This plan was posted in a magazine at one point or another....  I liked it when I saw it....  the plan was a S gauge plan however they also provided a plan for o gauge sectional track.

I have a plan in both fast track and atlas on my home computer and I post them when I get a chance.  They are in RR track software.

Just joined the O Gauge forum and saw your 8-6-14 posting.

 If you check our web suite we make multiple diameters of curved bridges.  it can be used as a helix  to drop or raise up trains we can make wider curved and straight sections.

You should add a link to your web site in your signature so we know where to look.  

Hi Chris, your drawing seems to be alittle different than the design that is in the previous subject photos of the winter layout.  Do you have a drawing of that layout by chance? Thanks, DCI Guy

Do not think e had any drawing  uploaded, up we do have a Curved bridge as a EL bridge.  The item attached is a 34 " diameter and will run 3 trains in space of 1.  

If we can help let us know.  wee make large Diameters to.  have a 54" set for delivery next week and did a 100 " diameter a while back.
