Nope.  The PRB have incorrect journal lids.  Both have the "ears" sagging a bit, but that is easily overlooked.  Otherwise, the Wasatch are perfect.  The PSC have the wrong aspect ratio.  The Lobaugh, while crude castings, have the ears at the correct height and the proper journal lids.

So Erik, are the corrugations innies or outies on the PRB cars?  Inquiring minds want to know . . .

Yeah, Rogers trucks have always been the high water mark for any style he modeled. What is even more remarkable, is the fact the original run of 41-CUDO trucks under his Wasatch passenger cars are almost identical to those he produced and imported in the last few years and the original run was done in "1994", over 20 years ago. They have remained "state of the art" far longer than any model or model component I can think of.

Those OCS Mr Oh trucks were initially done for Keystone Model Works back in 1987!

I didn't know that.  I knew the cars and trucks entered the market around 1994 when I thought Roger was living in Colorado or was at least a member of the Denver club. That's too long ago and it hurts just trying to remember.

Regarding UP coaling towers, there is a British fellow working on a diorama for the Laramie engine facility.  Most if not all of the structures are being scratchbuilt from styrene and etch, including the coaling tower.

There are a couple of photos on the Western Thunder forum in the middle of the "Larkrail" thread.  The builder also has a blog about the project called "Laramie Engine Terminal".  He has some new photos up with progress.

It's just some eye candy for anybody interested.

Jim, thanks for the link, I read it with great interest.  Incredible, I can't wait until I can start building something similar.  Love that era of UP steam.

I love eye candy.  I must be getting old because years before I would've thought of something else...HAHA.

Erik, is that an FEF-2 I see?  By whom may I ask?

Thanks.
