I finally was able to get my first MTH Premiere Diesel the other day.  I ended up getting a Santa Fe GP35 and man is this one awesome engine.  Originally I was running the layout with a MTH Railking NS SW1500, which is great, but I really wanted something that would smoke.  I must say, me and my kids must have spent the entire weekend down in the basement playing around with this engine.  Between setting the two up in a MU/lashup (being sensitive here lol) and running them separately at the same time, we just had an awesome time.  My other hobby is firearms, and I love to go shooting when I can afford to do so (ammo is $$).  But now that I have this locomotive, and I see how much more fun this is, I can definitely see my money going towards more trains rather than guns.  The smell of the JT Megasteam Original cedar and Diesel power, filled the basement and I was in heaven.  I am 34 years old, and I felt like I was 10, pulling the DCS remote away from my son so I could "play."  LOL...I love this hobby, I really do.  I am only on a 4x8 but I made the most of it and like most layouts, its not done yet.  I can't wait to get home from work today to play some more.  =)

Is it a twin exhaust stack engine? I have a GP7 PS2 that just blasts smoke from both stacks. I love watching that thing. Smoke performance from one engine to the next (PS2, PS3, Legacy etc.) varies quite a bit from one engine to the next in my collection. Sounds like you got a really good one!
