my old scale train standard 3 rail having trouble keeping it going

I'm running a display at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco for 2 months during the Christmas seasonthe track gets really dirty and I don't have the time to go by every day and clean the track anybody have any suggestionsand how many hours should go before I lube the wheels
