One of the biggest changes made to the layout this past year has been the construction of a large city at the south end. Phase 1 which is primarily an industrial area is about 90% complete

Cant wait. I saw Greg on Sunday and we chatted about out open house date. the south end project looks really nice

Another big change this year was the completion of our "Great Gorge" area. This included the installation of the fifth and final bridge as well as a water scene below the final bridge.

The scenery looks fantastic.

The bridge has been badly neglected by the railroad but is finally getting maintenance starting with a fresh coat of paint.

Only two weeks to go before our first show. Lots of people already on their way.

Preparations continue for the open house. Our steam service facility is starting to fill up with locomotives.

This area is still a temporary setup but will be a top priority for completion next year

One week to go. Preparations are complete. Ready to fire up those transformers.

We will be holding a raffle for the layout you see here. Includes the layout, trains, and everything you see (on top of the table).

I saw the raffle layout in person last night, wish I was eligible to win it.  I'd take it to FL, that's as big as my condo could handle and I could store it under a bed.  Hmmmm, I think I found a winter project.

I want to thank all those that visited us last weekend. We appreciate your support. We had a great turnout in spite of some poor weather on Friday and Saturday. Forecasts are looking much better for the next couple of days.
