I recently found a neat way to use electrical wipers that I had sitting around that were removed from the old K-line/Lionel 2 rail caboose trucks. I was tinkering and searching for a way to add electrical wipers on a brass CLW loco and found that these caboose truck wipers would work quite well. Here are a few pics of the wiper assembly and the wiper assembly temporarily installed on the truck bolster with a tie wrap and balsa wood shim. Eventually I'll use small screws to attach them to the truck. These look like they can work on Pecos River Brass loco trucks and maybe even the P&D brass trucks. Runs very smooth with wipers and flywheels added to motor.
