Need a used TIU that can be upgraded

Hello,I want to buy a used ,working(for now,at least),TIU to see if I will like DCS or not. I have been a conventional holdout,but I feel like I am missing a lot of what's going on with TODAYS trains!!

If I like DCS,I will go out and get a new one,so I'll have a warranty,and all the latest bells and whistles.I just wanna try it out first,on my layout,on one loop,and take it from there.

Also looking for a runner MTH 2.0 engine on the cheap,looks unimportant,as I just want to experiment with it.
