I have two of the same Lionchief (not LC+) steam engines I want to lash-up and run double headed but am concerned with announcements being played simultaneously from both engines. While the chuffing from one of the two engines can be switched off if the chuffs from both become annoying or out of sync, what can be done with the announcements? Since the two engines are identical and respond to the same remote, pushing the announcement button triggers announcements from both engines. Is there a way to have the announcement sound clips from only one of the engines play when the remote's announcement button is pushed? How can engine announcements from one of the locomotives be silenced?

Also, to operate prototypical, when steam locomotives are lashed up do both locomotives typically sound their whistles simultaneously? Do they ring their bells in unison? If they don't then how can I also silence the bell and whistle from one of the locomotives when the bell or whistle button is pushed on the LC remote?
