I see on the new Lionel shipping schedule posted July 21, 2014 that the 2 passenger sets will not ship now until May 2015.

Wow. What a delay. And that's most certainly a "maybe," too. It's getting to the point that you begin to wonder if you'll see some of these things in your lifetime.
Have to wonder how many more aluminum passenger car sets Lionel will try to catalog before they get their passenger car production logjam cleared.
