The club cars are neat. Ordered and received the new PGE Tofc car in 3 different roadnumbers...a truly different, seldom seen rr name.

 

The club has made 3 different Weaver Tofc cars...

BRITISH COLUMBIA RY.(sold out-hard to find)

 

 

 

The club has done some nice Atlas tank cars also. New tank car for 2015 - order now.

If you are looking for the sold out cars, first try some of the local Hobby shops in B.C. or Canada several have stock, Central Hobbies Vancouver, Kelly's Kaboose in Kamloops, or Petersen Supply Company are some you might try.

 

Or send an e-mail to someone on the newletter list they could put the request out at a local meet several go up for auction at the monthly meetings.

 

The Club has been displaying the club layout at several US shows. They are at the Great Train show in Puyallup Washington this weekend.

The Pacific Great Eastern was short lived 1959-1972.

 

British Columbia Railway was applied from 1972-1985.

 

That was changed to BC Rail in 1985.

 

All 3 of those railroad names are very limited in O Gauge and O Scale.

Its a very appealing website, and impressive club cars! Well done.

One of the problems with the magazine ads is that they often do not appear until the cars are already all pre-ordered and are sold out. Best way is to watch the newsletters for the latest info., or even pre-order through your local hobby shop.

They also welcome suggestions for limited run cars that might be suitable.

If anyone is interested in the latest Imperial Marvelube tank car, I believe Georges Trains in Toronto still has them in stock.   I happened to be there the day they arrived not long ago.

Looks like a good association.  I am also a fan of Canadian trains.  I have several friends in Canada who have great layouts. 

That is one high quality website! Not cluttered and has all of the info you need easily located.

Your offering of club cars is one of the finest I've seen. That RDC looks amazing!

I have ordered a number of these cars in the past.  Mark Horne is the go to guy for these offerings.  Mark,after these past few years it is nice to see your photo.

It is always nice to see just who a person is buying from.  Nice site,Mark!

At the last meeting we had a great barbecue lunch and I think around 60 people the room was full. Guys bring stuff to auction off or sell at tables. The auction went a couple of hours at least and several nice older Lionel sets seems new in box went for some pretty good prices.

 

Club sets it's layout up at a few shows including a couple of US shows.

 

Many of the guys are going for a group visit to York each fall about 20+ last year went.

They visit rail theme museums and other club layouts and private tours.

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing. But Lionel 3 bay cylindrical hoppers? I thought for sure you guys would be all over the correct MTH 4bay 100t Hopper cars and sets.

Can everybody please encourage MTH to produce the Canadian National CN EXPO '86 train as a complete set in 2016. In the Premier line MTH has an SD40-2 diesel, 48' trailer on flat car, Single-door PS-1 50' box car, double-door 50' box car that are as close as possible. The SD40-2 needs the wide cabin and the double-door box cars need a plug door as the left door. This is what the Canadian collectors and operators need.
