Ken, you are quite the salesman and an enthusiastic promoter of the hobby. I like how you give equal excitement to products from all manufacturers, as well as different levels. You give as much enthusiasm to Lionel starter sets as you did with these higher end Legacy products.

As much as trains have changed over the years, so has the business of selling them. Your enthusiastic product videos embrace that change. Good job.

What I'd like someone to ask Lionel is why the traditional cars with plastic trucks are priced starting at $50, and with die cast trucks, up to $85. Meanwhile these new Weaver based cars are being priced at "$50-55." That doesn't make any sense. The made in the USA box cars are all $85 and are less complicated to assemble than the former Weaver cars.

Maybe it is a temporary introductory price to get people hooked. Or maybe the final decision has yet to be determined. I mean, Lionel said the LionMaster products were dead several years ago - and that changed. And a few years ago, they said there were no plans to move service and parts from Ohio to North Carolina - and then that happened too.

I'm not being critical of Lionel. It's just sometimes things get spoken by reps and such before final decisions are actually made. Or circumstances alter a final decision.

Still it makes no logical sense that these more detailed, made in the USA cars will be priced equal to, and less than many other traditional cars - which are far less complicated and costly to make.

But of course Ken, I understand you have a enough common sense and diplomacy to have never asked such a question on camera. Regardless, thanks for your effort posting these videos.
