Re: New guy to trains, need a Fastrack Layout

Hey all,

My dad recently gave me his Lionel train from the 1950s. I want to make a L shape with two 8x4 tables. I want the train to basically go around the perimeter of the L, because I'm going to use the inside of the board for a slot car track. One table with a 8 foot edge running along the west wall, and then another table with the 8 foot edge running along the north wall. I have some fastrack, but only just a bit. Anyone suggest or have an layout like this?

If you can stretch to 5x8 or 5x9 sheets, there is a lot more you can do flexibility-wise with O-36 FasTrack.
