I purchased the following specialty MTH Premier Big Boy freight set 20-3578-1.  It came with Big Boy Cab 4000.  After looking at pics of other MTH Big Boy's along with the catalog pic and manual pic it seems to be missing both ash pan wheels (see pics below).

I sent an email to Midge at MTH last week, but have not received a response.  If I don't get a response by mid week I will give them a call.

Does anyone have any pics of their Big Boy ash pan wheels and how they attach?  By the looks of the pictures it appears that they are screwed onto the frame, which worries me because I don't have any threaded holes on my engine.  I will upload a pic of my engine when I get home from work.

Thanks

Yes, the two valve hand wheels.

It appears that there are tapped holes under the frame for these two valves on my engine.  MTH has a parts diagram for the Premier Big Boy online, but I don't see them on the diagram.  I assume they didn't have these details on the PS1 models.

Sorry, no pic yet of my model.  I will try and post one up tonight.
