I made an impulse buy and have decided that this engine just doesn't fit in with my collection.
Up for sale is a P&LE 0-6-0 imperial usra switcher, 30-1660-1.
The engine is a kind of gray/green color and is primarily lettered for the new york central. There is an operating coupler on both ends.
I have had it on the track just to test it. The OD says 59 min and 3.3 miles. I have only had it powered up for about 10 min and made about 2 laps around my 4' x 8' loop with it. I have the original mailer along with the box. Asking $(see above). MSRP $430. I do not do paypal so checks, money orders, or good old American green backs will have to do.
The whistle casting was bent forward a bit when I first unwrapped it but I was able to straighten it out pretty well - see pictures.
I have performed a factory reset so that it could be run with a dcs commander without needing to find someone with a full dcs to reset it for you.
