It's taken me a while to embrace modeling Penn Central. I lived through that time period and they sure seemed like dark days for northeastern/mid-Atlantic railroading. Now of course, it's considered "nostalgia". To further compoud the issue I'm finding it difficult to find accurate, scale PC equipment. I don't think they have a great deal of "mass appeal" - black locomotives with white stencils and "seasick green" equipment. Still it WAS part of the history and how we got from PRR to Conrail/Amtrak.
