New Winter Scene Layout

Thank you for the link, Suzukovich!    They look great!  I just ordered two to use on our Christmas layout.

A quick update...

We painted the first coat of white on the foam board, then I started working on the fastrack. I saw some pictures on SIRT's web page about his winter scene module. I am trying to recreate that look he did with his track that made my mouth drool.

I spread on woodland scenics flex paste, then I covered it with woodland scenics snow. I am going to do one side at a time, then I will do in between by the center rail. I really like to look so far on the fastrack, can't wait to see it when it's done.

Looking good. I agree, SIRT's winter module is great. When I finally get started with the new layout, it too will be winter theme. I am looking to do it the same way. It will be a lot of work but if it even comes close to his results it will be worth it.

hey Pete,

Your winterized track looks just like I would like to do.  would you mind adding a little more detail about how you did it so I can go out and get the stuff to give it a try?
