Wegmans makes the BEST pumpkin roll ever!! But they sell out quick, so buy 'em when you seem them.
nothing to do with trains, but richmond, va is going to have its first two wegmans early next year
looking forward to their opening
The Wegman's I've been to have elevated G scale ovals. The store I was at a few weeks ago did not have anything on the rails. Did not see any Lionel sets.
As an aside, the local ACE Hardware has an elevated G scale that runs a few laps at the push of a button.
Hi Gary,
The General Merchandiser is probably correct. I have been asking the merchandiser at a store near me, and she said that Lionel Trains were not on the list of items they were focusing on this Christmas holiday. They may not be selling them at all anymore. Although, like last year, the LionChief Sets did not arrive until a week before Christmas. So, it may be a last minute item if customers ask about it or demand them.
There is one thing about Wegmans. They do respond to the customers.
no o scale trains at the three Wegmans in Southeastern PA yet either...
I guess they are following Sears, Hobby Lobby and Target decisions a few years ago that the shelf space would be more profitable with other items instead of big boxy electric trains.
Thankfully Menards is adding shelf space for electric trains this Holiday Season.

They are going to have a Wegman's in Brooklyn soon. We need a market after the A&P stores collapsed.
I know they made many different separate sale cars but how many different Wegman’s Train SETS were made and in what years? I have the 2011 set.
