Outstanding layout. Beautiful photograph.

Don't hang around and let your troubles surround you. One of my favorite Seinfeld moments.
Great video Alan. I always enjoy seeing action on the Twin Lakes Central!
Now, I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but it would be really cool to see the trains in motion on your next video!
Alan
I always looked forward to you layout pics. Now this was great treat. Please keep it up. I am looking forward to you next production.
Doug
Wow, Alan nice job!
What Clarke Dunham has done with painted backdrops and flats, you have done with 3D buildings.
Your choice of music with Petula Clark doesn't hurt either.
Great layout...don't stop with the updates.
It looks like you could shoot your next video with Pet's "Don't Sleep in the Subway".

No words.....just wow!

That is a wonderful slide show. The double decked Hell Gate bridge is fantastic. You must have the densest downtown in Arkansas by a good margin.
However, the O gauge Insurance Services Office is concerned about the fire protection for that high value district. There should be no less than eight engines and four ladder companies from at least six fire stations to protect a central business district like that. Only one Mack Aerialscope was seen in the photos. Were the rest of the fire apparatus in quarters or is there a need for enhanced protection for that downtown?
Corgi has some wonderful Seagrave Engines and Trucks to chose from.
And their model of the big Hall-Scott powered Memphis Pirschs are superb.
Macks are great and there is no beating the L Model for looks.
A big downtown like that has to have a big fire department to keep high rise insurance rates affordable.
Veeeeery cool Alan! Love the girder work and the bridge was definitely worth shoehorning it into your car from York!
WOW GUYS!!! I am so appreciative of all of the great comments!! You inspired me to do another video and so late last night I finished and saved it. It is in the same kind of formate, different pictures, like the one above since right now I am taking "baby steps" as I am learning how to do this. I'll post it sometime this next week. After that, I am going to try a video layout tour. As far as a video "trip" on the layout, I want to wait until I either get my new Go-Pro camera or adapt my Toshiba Camileo S20 to a flatcar..or??
Thanks so much to all of you for your special comments and posts...and Ted....it is obvious the city is not prepared properly for fire protection rates!!
Alan
Excellent video. Very enjoyable.
Very nice Alan. I did not know we were allowed to use professional production companies to produce our posts on the forum!
Great show. and I would venture to say that a good many of us here on the forum remember when Ms. Clark released that song, and we more then likely listened to it on a transistor radio!
Take care,
Richard
Richard.....I really do need someone professional to help me!! By the way, I found a disco version that Petula sang!!!
Alan
I admire you Alan. Not many people ask for professional help, and on a public forum! Some people are certified, some are certifiable.
Dotty...I think I am certified in being certifiable!!..LOL
Alan
Nick...I took a look at your videos on YouTube....boy do I have a long way to go!! Yours were great!
Alan
Definately. Petula was singing about you layout!
That is exactly what I was thinking! Very nice video, Alan!!
Hi great video, amazing that it was your first one. The tune had my wife singing and my friends wife at first thought she was watching old photographs from the past until I explained they were of your layout, I guess the first bourbon they drink may have contributed to the above. Anyhow you have one nice layout thanks for sharing, regards Rob
Thanks for taking the time to look and comment...
Alan
Great video Boring soundtrack LOL Never a fan of Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield Try it with In The City by Joe Walsh
Just a note about those LeMax subway entrances New York city had two types of entrance One was the one LeMax made with the rounded dome roof. The other one New York used was a squared off dome. The difference between the two was that the round dome was for downtown or southbound trains and the squared off one was for uptown Northbound trains. I had purchased a custom made square roof from Trackmum Jack Smith that came out beautiful Have to take some pics
Very nice video! As the other guys mentioned here, I looked forward to seeing a video of your trains running in the future!! You have a very nice layout that we all enjoy seeing! Ken
Thanks Ben for the info on the Lemax Subway entrances....
AND...again, thanks guys for the great posts!
The next video is done and will be another, but more extensive, slideshow/music video...then after that will be a "trip" video...
Alan
Alan,
