Fairgrounds of Washtenaw county this Sunday 11/28/14. Rails on wheels train show. Is it a good/big train show? Lots of 3 rail vendors/tables. Any thoughts/opinions? Thanks.

Mostly HO some O. A couple of O (Ford) and HO layouts. Fun to look around if I have free time. When I first got in the hobby I bought a lot at shows to get stuff that came out in the five years before I started. Now I don't see much I want. My list is short as I have too much.

Loco Dan is right. I would add if you live close go,
Don't travel to far to see this one.
There is also one at a Simon & Jude church hall Sunday
the 30th, in Westland. Palmer and Venoy rd.

The Ann Arbor show use to be one of the largest show I can remember. Now bring your warm coat, because more than half of it is outside in the pavilion.
Really sad. when it was at the Pioneer High School it was an all day event just to get to all the tables... Stoshu is right, if your close go, otherwise don't waste the time and gas...
The Simon and St. Jude show is a better O gauge show. But the last two shows its been a bust for me. Just same ole, same ole...
I would save your money for the TTOS show in mid December in Troy/ Madison Heights... just a great show all together.
John, "THE" Ann Arbor train show you are referring to is held at the Saline Middle school on Feb 14 and 15th of 2015. Yes, it is smaller than it used to be, but still worth going to.
The show at the fairgrounds this Sunday 11/28/2014 is very small in comparison and definitely not worth driving a long distance to go to.

I live one mile away if that from the church on palmer rd. I agree the last couple of times it's been a bust and many empty tables, but I'll be there again. Thanks for the heads up on the other shows.
