We (Nassau Hobby Center) have Lionel premium smoke fluid. It's $7.99 a bottle and shipping is real time quoted from the shipping companies (UPS, FedEx, USPS). Yes you have to log in to creat an account so that you can put you address in so the shipping software can figure out the correct rates.

I found the same result on LIONEL smoke. I Order multiple bottles at a time from our good sponsors like Nassau.

Eastside Trains (forum sponsor) in Kirkland WA has this product, only reason for this comment is, it is cheaper to ship to Dallas  area from the West than the East coast. Not sure about Michigan.

I have bought products from Nassau  Hobbies and Eastside Trains both give good prices and great service.

"We rip to ship" is a phrase I became familiar with on ebay many years ago.

It's not confined to that site of course. Too many businesses take shipping as an opportunity to pad out just a little more profit. "Handling," you know.

Many others refuse to use anything other than a courier as it's just more convenient for them and hang the additional expense to the customer! On inexpensive items, it's frequently a "deal-breaker."

We don't have any smoke fluid in stock, but we have offered $5 flat rate shipping at the OGR web store for a long time. $5 fully covers the shipping/mailing costs on some shipments and doesn't cover it on others. It's a cost of doing business.

I can name lots of individuals and businesses who lost sales to me due to padded shipping charges.

Yep, add me to the list. I have used MegaSteam products for years and still have plenty of supply around. A great product.  But I have found that the Lionel Premium produces better results in my Lionel locos, especially with some of the recent LC+ releases.

You can try Rider's Hobby Shop in Grand Rapids or Brasseur Electric Trains in Saginaw for the Lionel Smoke Fluid, for mega smoke you can by direct and order 8 fluid ounce bottles to refill the 2 ounce bottle.

Yes as far as I can figure, all lionel fluid is the same.

No, the SF labeled premium will work much better. 6-37841

I'm not really sure Bill. I do know my LionChief Plus smokes better with premium smoke fluid 6-37841. Though after all my ranting, I found my bottle of Supersmoke and it did just as good as Lionel Premium smoke fluid. I'm guessing it's how thick the fluid is.
