OUCH! Different tastes for different folk I guess. I still consider my 8 car K-Line Heavyweight Daylight Special passenger train w/silhouettes to be a keeper. But then again, I like just about anything in Daylight colors. Kind of like running orange juice around the layout in the morning.

You and I have exchanged positions on this one.  I used to feel that 18" cars looks so much better on my 072 curves, but the 21" cars are just correctly proportioned and look right to me.  The 18" cars look too short and out of scale now.  After I tried 21" cars I was hooked and can't go back.

I have 0-72 for most of our main lines and I now run primarily 21" passenger sets. The overhang, not so bad to me and I will live with it in order to enjoy the 21" cars. Below is the Columbian Observation car going into an 0-72 curve.

I thought K-Line did??? Or was it the shorter cars?? I know they made something!

The K-Line set was pretty nice, but has the semi-scale 15" cars.  I seem to recall they made this set for Boscov's.  Weaver did the set in scale.  The Weaver set doesn't have interiors, but the window glass is tinted green.

I don't have the set, but am interested in getting the Weaver set, as I don't see anyone else making it.
