When a 18 V Z4000 output (or any other 18VAC transformer feed) is connected directly to a rail and the same rail receives a pair of wire from the fixed output 1 of a Rev L TIU, will the TIU be powered and generate a DCS signal?

In other word, can a rev L TIU be powered and activated to generate a DCS signal at all its 4 outputs by its Fixed 1 output or do you need to power it though its Aux In?

Interesting.  I always thought we needed to power the TIU either via the Aux plug or the Fixed 1 input.

I guess I've been using an 18 VAC wall wart on the Aux plug for no reason?
