Re: PE Heavyweight lighting question?

Has lionel made any changes to the PE heavyweight cars since the last run? I have one of the original Abandoned toy car heavyweights. The lights on that car flicker quite a bit. The new PE diners that I got the other day don't flicker at all. Also, the abandoned toy car lights up white while the diner lights up bluish.

I have tried to find the answer to this question also, no luck, no replies to why the lighting is different.

I I think the old cars were incandescent or older style LED and the new ones are LED with capacitors in them to keep them from flickering.
