Any one know anything about this set. I assume it is AC given it has an E unit.

Offered in the early 70s, 73 I think. Engine had a two-position E-unit with an AC motor. No headlight. Non-operating coupler on the rear. Engine body was plastic, which is a shame, because I think it would have been a better performer on the rails with a bit more weight.
An odd set because Lionel MPC thought it was necessary to include a tender with the engine in this set – so they created a little four-wheel version that only appeared in this set. All of the other four-wheel Docksiders were "tender free."

Oddly the 4 wheeled tender is part of what caught my eye about it, such an interesting set. I wonder if they put an operating coupler on it.
