I am using gypsolite over screen to make a rough stone vertical face between 2 track levels.  It provides a qood textured plaster like surface, but is hard to get good coverage over the screen.  I also have and have used sculptamold  with good results.  A friend suggested getting structolite as a cheaper substitute for the sculptamold.  I picked up a 50 lb. bag for $18.00, but

haven't opened it yet so I can return it if it doesn't meet my needs.  My question is, how does the Structolite compare to the Sculptamold and Gypsolite for landscaping projects? What are the pros and cons of each of these products?  I'm about to start on the biggest mountain on my layout and want to use the right materials.  I have formed a large portion of the mountain from plaster cloth over cardboard strips and another section from two inch foam, stacked, glued, and carved. I need now to find out which materials will serve me best for creating the surfaces of the mountain.
