Sal, I received mine earlier this month.  Here are a few shots taken with my cellphone right after I opened the box.  I haven't had time to take better pictures yet...

Anybody get the DM&IR units..... if so please post pics or a video...

I have both units, 2000-2003 both run and sound great.  Had to send the 2003 back to Lionel because of burnt out LED marker light.  Got it back in a week all is good.  They even run great in lash up, MU.

As to your question - do an internet search. I found the #2003 so #2000 should be same minus the anniversary lettering. I assume you want to check out the green/yellow colors Lionel used. At least you can see an actual model here and not one of those illustrations Lionel is so fond of using...

I would love to have one of those engines as well, even the shell(with the 25th anniversary) would be good as I would use a Williams SD-45 for the chassis and motors.

Does anyone actually have the 2003.  Ive seen some pics where the trucks are silver on the real one.
