Merry Christmas to all.  I'm aware of the need for the changes as far as bumps by the individual or a potiential buyer.  As I understand it and if wrong it won't be the first time, here is what happened.  I placed a new add today, I also had 2 old posts and did not want to bump the old easy way so I went through the process too bring them forward and it worked.  Later on I checked my posts and 1 was moved to the 2nd. page and the other has disappeared completely.  I have gotten no explanation, what cardinal sin did I commit.  Cheers Jim

Ok John I must be missing something, I was under the impression that if you added to the post or lowered prices you could cut and past so you could move your post forward again.  I have seen may for sale posts like this as well as some with replies from buyers and that in turn bumped the post as was done in the past and nothing was done.

Would deleting your old post and adding a new one work with the "new rules"?

Your best bet is to edit your post, and NOT bump it forward. It doesn't matter if it's on the 1st or 3rd page, if your merchandise is wanted it will sell. Don't bump them forward. Too many people think a bump to the 1st page helps. What helps is having good trains at a good price no matter where it's located.

Yep...Jeff has it right. ....AND, bumping is not allowed...   When we become aware of comments in a post that bumps it when an email should be sent OR when a seller bumps their own post...it is reviewed by one of the moderators.  At that point, a determination is made.  Unfortunately, it is not an exact science and is one reason why Rich stopped all comments a few weeks back because some folks were bumping excessively.
