A very, very preliminary photo for sure. This is how it looked several weeks ago. It's a model of Landmark Grain S2 #10003 as it appeared in the 80's. It is now finished and just needs the couplers added and a little touch up paint. I wrote it up as an article and hopefully OGR will publish it. I will have some photos of it in a few days. This one takes the place of the Baldwin that was stollen recently. In case you are wondering, the prototype was re-engined with a Cummins Diesel with a new radiator added out front.

It's an MTH ALCo S2. The prototype was an S4, but beggars cannot be choosy. It has a cab and is not a slug or calf. I just mounted the couplers so I will start shooting photos either today or tomorrow and post soon. It is my first black unit but since it is heavily weathered it doesn't look "flat". It is only a non-powered unit but was built for photography. It fits in the new diesel house I will have out soon. I will need to add the lettered sign on the cab also as soon as I can do it in the computer. I wish I could read the top line on the photos! I may have to leave that off.
