I did a factory reset on my 30-2518-1 PS2 NH Rectifier because it was acting erratically.  I think I turned off the power before the rest finisched.  Now the engine does not respond to DCS nor does it power up in conventional (no DCS present on test track).  How can I get it working again.

When you do this, it should be the ONLY engine on the track and I believe you need to be using a TIU addressed as TIU #1.

John,

The engine won't do anything in conventional, so I don't think the recover will work.

I use a heat gun to lightly warm the connector shell, I just direct it from the top of the pins.  The object of the exercise it to soften the plastic a bit so you can move it off the pins.  The pins have a dimple that holds the plastic shell on, without heat it's harder to pry them off, and of course more likely to damage the boards in the process.

I leave it to you to add the step-by-step connector swap when you do yours.
