PS3 smoke ?

Hmmm, none of mine do that.

It's funny that the chuff continues? Maybe something with the tether?

Don't know but like the lighted switch stands.

Hi Joe    Sometimes the smoke stays off for a minute,   when running at speed it doesn't happen.   I also noticed that the smoke seems to come out with less force than PS2. The diesels are good.

Don't know ,either, but aren't the gates supposed to go down when a train crosses?

Did you try  different chuff rates .    What happens with the laboured chuff rocker?   Or lastly blowing down the stack.?

I believe the ps3 electronics are wired so that the diesel engine has the smoke increase as the motor speed goes up. I am not sure about the steamers?

I found that a few of my engines wouldn't smoke well for very long. It seems that when they are new, you have to really saturate the wicking. After that, just a few drops will do. I took the ones that were weak ( also not run much or for a long time ), and added a lot of oil to saturate. Now they all perform well. It does seem like some, are just better than others. The gauge one Challengers w/ps2 that I have, all are weaker smokers. The one gauge Hudson with ps2, smoked better than almost any other....?

That's as odd as it can be, I've never seen that.
