Dave,
I think that there is a company called Trackman that makes a car for every gauge.
Dave,
There are a few. The one Norm is talking about is the Trackman 2000.
There is another Track Scrubbing car made by R&L Lines. They are not making them right now, but you should be able to find one on the open market or at a retailer they have posted.

I have both in Standard Gauge, but have yet to test them to see which is better.
There is also some past discussion on the forum about these. I think that's what Happy was ribbing you about.

There are more, but these were the ones that came to my little brain first.

Why not take an O gauge tanker car, and add a spring loaded scrubber onto it, put a little container with a tube into the tank.
Maybe make some decals for it "Track Washer Car" "mineral spirits only"
In Dave's defense, I don't see any of the usual models being "tinplate".
I would suggest that it would have to be made from a piece of old tinplate freight in need of restoration. There's been a few posts about folks doing it themselves, or the parts could be lifted from the usual suppliers.

Tim,
That's one heck of an idea! It can be done if someone has the talent. I nominate our own "Papa" Steve to create the prototype.

Steve,
I hold your creative skills in the highest regard. This is why I nominated you. IMHO Only a true Artisan can create works in tin seemingly without any effort.
Steve,
That is more like what I had in mind, all this other stuff is not real Tin Plate rolling stock, that would clean track. Make me one also will ya! Got to have Pre War auto couplers also.
