There is another Track Scrubbing car made by R&L Lines. They are not making them right now, but you should be able to find one on the open market or at a retailer they have posted.

I have both in Standard Gauge, but have yet to test them to see which is better.

That's one heck of an idea! It can be done if someone has the talent. I nominate our own "Papa" Steve to create the prototype.

There is a McCoy boxcar sitting on my work bench waiting to become a track cleaner. I plan on making it use a Scotch Brite pad attached to a spring loaded block. I'll get to it some day
