Question for MTH historians on MTH gas station

So they should be readily available, not Rare per the listing you linked.

Websites have been known to have errors tho.

I'm not an expert, but I did find one on a previous sale that looked to have the same general color scheme.

That seller you reference seriously needs to learn to format text better though.  That description is way too hard to slog through.

Thanks guys. I purchased one for $75. The description did confuse me. I love the station,the Mobil logo is cool.   I think MTH buildings and accessories are a good value but I certainly don't buy them as collectibles.I did a search and only found demo prototype models in MOBIL.

I have the Sinclair and Esso gas stations. The 1st and second. Always like them. Also,the fire house is another good one. Oh and not to forget about probably the best one ever, Mel's  diner. However the Car Wash is a nightmare. Now I never had any place to fit this in my layout. So after purchasing is some 15 years ago I tested it and stored it. Now decided to get it out and use it and is has door issues. I spent about 7 hours on it so far. had it completely apart and finally narrowed down the issue. However I don't know exactly how to correct it. The reason that it is a nightmare is because this one has a huge drive chain. Now when it was apart I was checking the switches and all was good. But I think that the chain needs some tension. I was supposed to take a picture of it when it was apart. But I forgot. Now I think the chain needs some type of adjustment and I don't recall and adjustments for it, I wish someone has that info for me as I am a bit reluctant to remove all 37 screws  and deal with its complex construction just to look.
