Probably MTH feels that too many customers don't know that railroad signals have red at the bottom and green at the top, and so they would think the signals are defective.
The light at the end of the tunnel is the headlight of an on coming train! TCA Member
Can the red and green lamps be swapped around??? Has anyone checked this???
