Just curious - I know PS3 eliminated the troublesome battery. When looking at my Wabash PS3 SD70ACe the other night, it showed a 'battery - low' message. This is teh 2nd PS3 engine I have seen with a message like that. All the other ones say 'Battery- OK' What gives?

Chris,

Did you check your Batteries your using ?

Maybe there is a weak Battery.

Try installing new Batteries.

Please let us now how you make out.

John - I'm not following. These are not the remote batteries, but a reading off the engine.

Here's one off another engine taken minutes later - so it's the engine giving the battery indication - which is what confused me, from what I understand, PS3 has no battery

What software version are you using on TIU and Remote? If I recall correctly this was a bug that has been corrected.

the TIU & remote have the latest update. I did the update about a month ago

Some early PS-3 engines would do that. It is not a concern if the engine is functioning correctly. G

It is normal ....all of my batteryless PS3 read low.

That is how PS3 reads. It is what it is. That screen is about the engine and not the remote.
