As many of you know, I recently acquired a very nice bridge for my PRR Panhandle Division layout. The bridge is a massive structure 7' long. When I placed it on one of the commercially available bridge shoes, it simply didn't look right. So I designed my own and had the parts machined. The bridge shoe is 1.25" square and 7/8" high. Today I finished painting and assembling one of them. Here's the result.

Looks great! What material are they made from?
Here's the problem I had. First photo shows the bridge on the commercially available bridge shoes.
Second photo shows the bridge on my Really Big Bridge Shoes.
I'm going to assemble the other 3 shortly. In fact, I had a few spares made.
